 General Notes:
Educated St Catherine's College Cambridge, admitted 14th October 1878, and ordained Deacon in 1884. He served at St. James, Ashton, Lancs from 1884 to 1885 and Balderstone from 1885 to 1889.
He was ordained priest in Manchester in 1886 and became Vicar of St. Stephens,Tockholes, Darwen, Lancashire 1889-1910, then Vicar of St. Saviour's, Bamber Bridge, Lancashire, 1910-1911and Rector of Heanor with Langley Mill 1911-1917, succeeding his brother.
He was Vicar of Polesworth, Warwickshire from 1917 to 1939 and also Rural Dean of Polesworth 1920-1932 (Surrogate from 1920), and Chaplain for the 1st Volunteer Bn East Lancashire Regiment.
(1901) No children on the census, thus they probably died without issue.
