William CORFIELD ^{1 2}

  General Notes:

William of Chatwall inherited land from his half brother Walthall. He became an army Captain and lived in Gretton, Shropshire for many years.
In 1750 he erected a plaque in Cardington Church displaying the Corfield Arms, but this has since been removed.

William married Elizabeth HARRINGTON, daughter of John HARRINGTON and Margaret BRIGHT, on 4 May 1712. (Elizabeth HARRINGTON died on 19 Jan 1728.)
