Benjamin Corfield was living in Cardington in 1832 and was able to vote in the parliamentary elections as he owned freehold messuage and land in Cardington.
Benjamin was an agricultural labourer and lived at Brookhampton, Holdgate near the original Corfield Farm between 1851 and 1871 with the Jones family living at his house in 1861,
Benjamin married Ann EDWARDS on 3 Jul 1833 in Shipton.
