General Notes:
Charles 'Flick' Corfield was apprenticed from 1907 to 1911 to William James Brown of Ludlow as a chemist. He practiced at 17 Bloomsbury Square, and from 1930 until his death edited the Pharmaceutical Codex which provides the basis for pharmaceutical manufacturers. Charles and Ella lived in New Barnet to the north of London. The Pharmaceutical Journal of the 4th Aaugust 1956 described him as 'one of the most brilliant pharmacists Britain has produced during any period'.
Charles married Ella CAIRD. (Ella CAIRD was born on 17 Jan 1894 and died on 11 Aug 1986 in Hillside Rest Home, All Stretton.)
