Probable son of George and Diana.
George Corfield was educated at Univesity College School, London(1842-47) and the emigrated to Australia on the "Blackheath" arriving at Port Philip (Melbourne) on 17th March 1853.
George worked as a clerk in Messrs. Graham Bros & Co, Merchants, 12 St. James Buildings, Little Collins Street, Melbourne. ( the same building where Corfield Pty Lt. later operated)
