John Corfield was living in Cardington in 1601 when he signed a deed about land in Longville and Cardington, the other signatory being Edwar Lutwyche.
Sometime after 1603 John appears to have moved to Suffolk because there is another deed dated 1620, which survives, concerning land in Beccles, Suffolk, signed by John Corfield the elder, John Corfield the younger, Richard Burgis, and Ellen his wife.
John married.
