General Notes:
It is not absolutely certain what happened to Samuel but it is believed he is the same Samuel as the Samuel Corfield, sometimes called Samuel John Corfield who was living in Australia in the mid 1880s.
He was a hairdresser. In 1888 he was living in at 4 Roma Street, Brisbane. By 1892 he was living in Bundaberg, a coastal town some 200 miles north of Brisbane. The town served as a port for shipping the sugar produced in Queensland, and there Samuel was employed by Mr. M. Krieger. He lived at Crofton Street in Bundaberg while his wife lived was living at Patrick Street, Paddington, Brisbane.
On 17th February 1892 there was a severe flood in Bundaberg during which Samuel was drowned.
Samuel married Harrieta Emma ROSE in 1887 in Queensland, Australia.
