William Corfield moved to Pensnett, Dudley, Staffordshire in the early 1850s.
At first a railway porter he then became a grocer and lived above his shop at the corner of Union Passage and Bell Street, Pensnett.
He was executor of his father's will.
Probate for his will was granted to his widow.
