William Wilmot Corfield lived with his aunt Lucy Corfield
Following his marriage he served in the Bedfordshire Regiment and became Assistant Controller of Registration, Ministry of National Service 1917-1919. He was Chairman of Motor Trades Association for the Southeast Midlands Division in 1927 and Vice Chairman of Bedfordshire County Cricket Club.
