Job Corfield became a parish apprentice in 1810.
He was transported to Australia as a convict in 1818. On 30th January 1819 he is noted on a list of convicts being trans-shipped from the 'Globe' to the 'Port Dalrymple'. He arrived in Tasmania, then known as Van Diemens Land, and in mid 1824 he was still a convict. He broke into a house in Launceston and was recognised and apprehended. He was tried and executed.
