 General Notes:
John Corfield of Hughley. He subscribed to a present to King Charles II in 1673, and was churchwarden in 1684. In 1688 he was at the Wenlock quarter sessions.
There is a monument to him in Hughley church:
'Here lyeth John Corfield de Hughleywho was interred April ye 12th Anno Dom 1700 Aged 74 years'.

John married Elizabeth BROOK, daughter of Thomas BROOK and Unknown, on 26 Mar 1656. (Elizabeth BROOK died in 1680.)
