 General Notes:
After marrying Joan, Lancelot Corfield moved to Acton Burnell. the parish at the time was mainly woodland with the manor owned by Humphrey Lee of Langley, with the manor passing to the Smythe family in 1660.
Soon after 1663 Lancelot moved back to Hughley and paid 2 shillings hearth tax in 1672, becoming churchwarden in 1680 with his brother William.
Lancelot married Joan. (Joan was buried on 31 Mar 1675 in St John the Baptist, Hughley, Shropshire 1.)
