Henry Corfield enlisted on 18th July 1794 as Captain, 76th (Hindoostan) foot serving under Col. Kenneth Macrae, in the Second Anglo-Maratha War angainst Sindhia of Gwalior and Holkar of Indore.
Died in the attack on Bharatpur (Bhurtpore).

Died without issue.
