Edwin became Assistant Accountant General to H.E.H. the Nizam's Government
Married his first cousin.
On 12th April 1930 Edwin and his family moved to Tiger Hall, Tarbund, Secunderabad following the death of his brother-in-law Robert Clive Farrel the previous day. Clive had bought the house from the Chinoy Family Trust on 16th August 1916 at an auction for 7000 Rs.
Edwin married Edith Maud FARRELL, daughter of Edwin Charles FARRELL and Unknown, on 24 Jan 1909. (Edith Maud FARRELL died on 7 Jul 1970 in Hyderabad, India and was buried in Secunderabad.)
