William Booth Corfield was educated at Cheltenham College from 1852-58 and went to Trinity College Cambridge, 5th July 1858, gaining his BA in 1862 and his MA in 1865. He had been ordained Deacon in 1863; priest at Lichfield 1864; Curate of High Ercall, Salop 1863-65; curate of Llangattock and Llansanffraid 1865-67; Rector of Longford 1867-80; Rector of Llangattock 1883-1904; and Domestic Chaplain to the Marquis of Abergavenny 1897-1904.
• Census: Clergyman Church of England, 31 Mar 1901, Llangattock, Monmouthshire, Wales. 3 William married Charlotte Urania LEEKE, daughter of Ralph Merrick LEEKE and Hester Urania FELLOWES. (Charlotte Urania LEEKE was born in 1854 in Longford, Shropshire, England and died on 25 Dec 1925.) |
