 General Notes:
Thomas Corfield went to Brighton College, Christ's Hospital and Jesus College, Cambridge (graduating in 1866). He had been ordained Deacon in 1865; a priest in 1866; Curate of Bedminster, Bristol 1866-68; curate of North Kelsey, Lincolnshire 1868-69; and was posted as Chaplain on the Great Indian Peninsular Railway 1870-94. Thomas was the Chaplain on the Railway covering the area between Igatpuri and Bhosawal.
