Richard CORFIELD ^{1 2}

  General Notes:

Richard Corfield was the ancester of the Corfields of Cornwall, he was part owner of Chatwall and nearby farms.
After quarrelling with his family he left Shropshire to become a Captain in the Wiltshire Militia and later an officer in the Inland Revenue based at Axminster in Devon.

• He worked as an Officer of Inland Revenue.

Richard married Martha. (Martha was born in 1711-1712 and was buried on 28 Feb 1797 in Axminster, Devon, England.)
