Arthur King Corfield went to the East India College in 1828. He joined the Bombay Civil Service and worked in Bombay from1836 to 1862. On his return to England the family lived at 21 St Stephen's Square,Westbourne Park, Middlesex.
In his will he left £4617 naming his wife Dora as sole benificiary.
