John Corfield was five years old when he was baptised.
He owned 140 acres in Quatt, called Mose, which he inherited from his father-in-law.
His tombstone is still in Quatt Church: the inscription reads.
'Here lyeth the body of John Corfield, Gent, late of Mose, who departed this life October ye 18th 1751, aged 91'.
John married Elizabeth CORFIELD, daughter of John CORFIELD and Unknown.
